ARTIST’S STATEMENT
Continuing to develop as an artist in today’s world, I have come to realize that the process of searching for a new way of revealing the familiar is an ongoing pursuit. When captivated by the nature of the world around me, the desire to express its drama in a meaningful way stirs up the struggle to fuse what I feel with what I must interpret. In this process, I surrender to simplifying what is in front of me in order to capture the essence.
