An extraordinay artist

http://gabriellasoltiportfolio.blogspot.com/Every once in a while I meet a unique unassuming person who is a body of talent in their field of expertise.

 One such person is GABRIELLA SOLTI, a multi-disciplinary artist living and working in Vancouver, Canada. Her artist books have been exhibited in Italy, Japan and Canada. A winner of the prestigious Alcuin Award for Excellence in Book Design in Canada in 2010, her limited edition book, "The Sensory Delights of Text" will be Canada's official entry in the February 2011 international book design competition in Leipzig: Best Book Design from all over the World.

Gabriella is the gallery and fundraising coordinator at the Port Moody Arts Centre. I met her when I was invited to exhibit my abstracts in "Arcane Explorations", opening on Thursday October 14, 6 ? 8 PM, at Port Moody Arts Centre,

2425 St Johns Street and Scotia Bank gallery at 2501 St Johns Street in Port Moody, BC.

Gabriella is most intelligent, articulate and enthusiastic about other artists' work, her own work, and as well as her work at the Arts Centre. 

I'm delighted to have gotten to know her.
